Home-made biscuit usually eaten in Spring or during Easter celebrations,
it was typical of San Piero a Sieve and was normally eaten by dipping
it in "vinsanto" or with coffee.
- 1 kilo of flour
- 450 gr. of sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 small bags of yeast
Make
a mixture with these ingredients and work it for a long time, then prepare
the biscuits on a tin giving them a flower shape. With this pasta people
used to prepare a cake which had the shape of a small basket or an holy
water front and it was usually placed in young's bedrooms.
