This small plant grows at the basis of trunks or along escarpments.
Use It is used in herbalist's shops and picked up for Summer solstice;
if left to infuse in milk and honey it is a good remedy against cough
and catarrh. In northern Europe it was used to flavour the beer. The
most tender leaves can be used to cook soups of mixed vegetables,
or boiled with bread soups.
