shrub with green small leaves. Its small blue berries ripe during the
month of August. This fruits is really good if eaten fresh with sugar
and lemon or with cream without sugar.

Use
A delicious jam can be obtained with its fruits. the fresh fruits
have tonic and astringent properties, which are also maintained in
the syrup. Its leaves can be used to prepare a decoction useful for
gargles in order to cure the sore throat. |
